Tara Gentile and Megan Auman

Tara Gentile

Tara is a creative business strategist, writer, and thought leader. In less than a year, she went from stay at home mom to family bread winner. She has big ideas for your business and creative ideas for your mind.

Megan Auman

Megan is a maker, designer, educator, writer, and consultant who has built a multi-faceted business around her passion for great design and sustainable business. She maintains a hefty wholesale business of handcrafted jewelry, accessories, & home decor items. She also offers “Make It Work” sessions to give your creative business an edge.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a full year since this concept initially launched. We’ve had some successes and some not-so-successes. It’s cool. We roll like that.

We stand by the extreme value in our (both yours & ours) voices coming together in support of the next wave of creative businesses – the ones that are just starting, those that are putting food on the table, and those that are rebuilding the economy. But the biggest lesson we learned over this last year is that we didn’t pick the best communication medium.

We get it – forums are hard to read no matter how valuable they are in facilitating dialogue. Ooops!

Here’s what we want to do: facilitate you getting answers to your questions in a way that helps everyone in The Empire.

Here’s how we’re going to do it, the next iteration of The Creative Empire:

1) You’ll get 2 emails from Tara & Megan every week. They will be answers to YOUR questions.
2) You’ll get 3 calls each month. Two will be open coaching calls – with the opportunity to have your business “hot-seated” for more in-depth work. One will be a live interview with a guest expert with Q&A at the end.

More specific content, delivered to your email inbox regularly.

Yep, we think it’s pretty cool.

Want the super great news? The first month of this new Empire is totally free. You can try out this new format for August and then choose whether you want to get on board (at the same monthly fee as before).

More details and logistics are coming. But this is the first and biggest step. We’re excited and we hope you are, too.

get ready to grow your empire!

I am LOVING this community! I love being surrounded by other entrepreneurs. It can be a lonely, misunderstood world of creating, running and expanding a business. It is comforting to have a place to go where I know others “GET IT”.
– Holly, Accounting Spot

I feel so much more inspired and motivated about my business after reading the posts. The spirit of sharing ideas and supporting is each other is alive and well here! Thanks tara and meagan for creating this wonderful group. It’s definitely filling a void in my business and creative knowledge.
– Heidy, Emma Alison Designs

I like that this forum is not used for complaining, negativity, or blatant promotion. The other members are very honest and open to sharing what works and what doesn’t, critique, positive feedback, and the peace of mind that you’re not alone. It’s a great avenue to tackle the more pressing subjects when you’re ready to move from hobby to career.
Tina Jett

So many forums annoy me because all I hear is complaining. I want to be inspired and I want ideas. AND, I love to see everyone else doing what I want to do – it reassures me that I am not alone and I have positive hard working people to help me and give me an example to follow.

Whenever I finish reading new forum posts here at The Creative Empire, my brain churns with ideas and new additions to my to-do list. I love it all.
